Oktopulli was founded in 2021 by Nancy Frehse & Carla Reuter. They started out with the mission of producing gender-neutral and resource-saving fashion locally for young and old.
The Oktopulli team now has four permanent team members and two freelance tailors. Oktopulli also cooperates closely with other local sewing workshops.
The workshop adjacent to the Berlin store is visible to everyone - children and adults alike can experience how a piece of clothing is created and how much work goes into producing their new favorite piece.
The Oktopulli team wants to give the tailoring craft more visibility and make clear the value of clothing and the work behind it.
