Leggings for toddlers 86/92 made from upcycled merino wool in red

These leggings used to be a sweater!
Jawoll Baby saves the valuable material wool and sews baby and children's clothes from it.
The material is 100% merino wool – it is suitable for all year round and is pleasantly smooth and soft.
The leggings are slim and cut close to the body.
In size 86/92 there is room for (cloth) diapers, in the larger sizes the cut is narrower in the crotch.
Therefore, the leggings can also be worn as underpants (e.g. under Toni outdoor trousers, wool suits, snow suits, mud pants) or as sleeping pants.
If the legs are too long at first, you can simply fold the cuffs over.

The waistband is made of the same material and is pleasantly wide and stretchy, so that nothing is tight.
There is a small hole in the waistband at the back through which you can insert an elastic band if necessary. You can find the right addition in the shop.

Due to upcycling and the individuality of each material, measurements vary slightly within sizes to ensure a good fit.

Wool is a wonderful natural material: it regulates temperature, is breathable, dirt-repellent and odor-resistant. These are all properties that make wool an ideal material for baby and children's clothing.
However, breeding sheep for wool production is harmful to the climate and involves animal suffering.
A sustainable alternative is the use of existing resources: Jawoll Baby gives damaged wool sweaters a new life and makes the valuable resource wool usable again.

The orange thread from Jawoll Baby: Wool is biodegradable - polyester yarn is not. When the textile's usage cycle is over, you can see at a glance through the orange seams where you can separate the thread and wool and thus enable recycling. Only separated materials can be recycled in the household waste.
For any small holes that may appear during use, I will include a piece of the original fabric with your order. This way you can repair your favorite piece and use it for a long time.
