Description

This unisex dress was once a damaged wool sweater. Jawoll Baby saves the valuable material wool through upcycling. The wool material (100% wool) is wonderfully light and also suitable for warmer temperatures.

Jawoll Baby is a gender-neutral label – the dress is also designed to be unisex.
This way, girls and boys alike can wear what they love.

The simple cut means it can be combined in many different ways and worn with or without trousers underneath.
It has an airy cut and offers plenty of room to move around.
The hem of the dress ends at about the knee. Due to the loose cut, it will grow at least 2 sizes and can be worn much larger. (Dimensions - width at stomach level: 34 cm, length: 60 cm)
It can also be worn as a long shirt or as a nightdress.
With a long-sleeved shirt underneath or a jacket on top, you can make it wearable even in cool temperatures.

The dress also supports families as diaper-free clothing when potty training and drying off.
You can find more diaper-free clothing in the shop in the corresponding category.

You can find other colors and sizes of the dress in the shop. Feel free to send me a message if you are looking for a specific color. I'll be happy to look through my sweater collection to see if there is a suitable one that I can sew to go with the dress for your child!

Wool is a wonderful natural material: it regulates temperature, is breathable, dirt-repellent and odor-resistant. These are all properties that make wool an ideal material for baby and children's clothing.
However, breeding sheep for wool production is harmful to the climate and involves animal suffering.
A sustainable alternative is the use of existing resources: Jawoll Baby gives damaged wool sweaters a new life and makes the valuable resource wool usable again.

The orange thread from Jawoll Baby: Wool is biodegradable - polyester yarn is not. When the textile's usage cycle is over, you can see at a glance through the orange seams where you can separate the thread and wool and thus enable recycling. Only separated materials can be recycled in the household waste.
